-performed at your first visit to the office. Teeth are check for carious lesions or decay. Old filling is check for recurrent caries.
We check your gums, cheeks, lips, tongue, tissues, face, neck, and throat for signs of oral cancer; rechecking every time you have your recall.
Radiographs-very important to detect decay, anomalies from normal structures-tumors, cysts, atypical tooth and root position, and bone loss.
Prophylaxis-removal of calculus (hardened plaque left out around the tooth and above and below the gum, and can only be removed by specialized instruments. At the end, teeth are polish.
Fluoride Treatment-help prevent tooth decay; strengthens the tooth enamel applied every 6 months visit of your regular recall.
Sealants-it is a thin coating of resin in deep grooves (known as pits and fissures) for newly erupted premolars and molars. Sealants protect teeth from carious lesions or decay.
Oral Hygiene Instructions-brush your teeth every after meal if possible or at least twice a day and clean your tongue as well. Floss regularly by wrapping the floss around the tooth, eat well balanced meal, rinse your mouth after eating sugary snacks, and visit your dentist regularly.
